LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Broadvoice, a leading hosted voice and telecommunications provider nationwide, today announced the launch of Hosted Call Recording, further enhancing their feature rich Cloud PBX and Unified Communications Suite of services. Hosted Call Recording extends Broadvoice’s carrier grade business voice service with the ability to automatically record calls from any device connected to the Broadvoice network with no additional hardware required.
This premium feature allows Broadvoice customers to record call audio and store the files in the cloud. Businesses that have a need to record calls for quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or training purposes can take advantage of the feature for a monthly rate of $4.95 per enabled extension. Recorded calls can be accessed through Broadvoice’s Cloud PBX administration portal and are available for playback and download.
Broadvoice partnered with OrecX, a leading provider of call recording applications for call centers, enterprises and business VoIP providers, to power the solution. Utilizing the OrecX platform allows Broadvoice to take advantage of their full-featured, reliable and very easy-to-use call-recording platform.
Jim Murphy, Chief Executive Officer of Broadvoice, stated, “The concept of only recording calls inside the office is obsolete. Today’s workforce mixes in-office agents with teleworkers, over a variety of call platforms. Our Hosted Call Recording solution capture the calls regardless of device or location. The partnership with OrecX allows us to leverage their deep integration with our MetaSwitch IP Telephony platform and deliver a seamless solution to our customers.”
OrecX President and CEO, Steve Kaiser shared his enthusiasm noting, “OrecX is pleased to have Broadvoice as a strategic partner and to power their Call Recording solution. Broadvoice shares in our mission to provide first class solutions that are affordable, flexible and easy to use.”
Both Broadvoice and OrecX are attending the Cloud Partners event from September 16-18 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. VARs, MSPs and agents attending the event and interested in learning more about the new Call Recording solution can visit Broadvoice at booth 813 in the exhibit hall.
