GLOBALINX Completes Extensive Cloud-based Telephony and Unified Communications Solution

GLOBALINX recently completed its largest installation yet of a combined Hosted PBX and GLOBALINX UC unified communications solution.

In an extensive conversion from premises based telephony to a cloud solution for the headquarters and retail locations of a nationwide hamburger restaurant chain with over 500 locations in the United States and Canada, GLOBALINX paired its hosted PBX service with its GLOBALINX UC. The company’s unified communication tool, GLOBALINX UC improves employee communications, reduces total of cost ownership, and enables the business to efficiently scale as business needs change.

The conversion, which was the largest unified communications implementation for GLOBALINX, and one of the most comprehensive UC offer for its partner BroadSoft, included almost 300 GLOBALINX UC seats, over 1400 DIDs, 20 SIP Trunks, and several toll-free numbers and other ancillary services. The solution is interconnected nationwide over an MPLS (multi-protocol label switching) network. Key features of the solution include full presence, device mobility, instant messaging, voice mail, call forwarding, unlimited local and domestic calling, traffic overflow protection, and full service redundancy.
