Oxford Networks Selects BroadSoft to Power Hosted UC Service for SMB Market

Oxford Networks deploys BroadCloud to introduce feature-rich, affordable hosted unified communications services

GAITHERSBURG, Md., January 29, 2015  – BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ: BSFT) today announced that Oxford Networks, an award winning technology solutions provider based in Lewiston, Maine, has selected its BroadCloud®  managed services to power Oxford Networks Cloud Branch Exchange (ONcbx), a cloud-based business communications service designed for small and medium sized businesses (SMB) that extends beyond standard telephony features to include video calling and conferencing, mobility, unified messaging, and other in-demand hosted unified communications (UC) services.

According to an August 2014 Infonetics report, the global hosted PBX and UC services market is expected to grow from $8.5B in 2014 to $12.3B by 2018. The rapid adoption of these hosted services has created the need for service providers to explore faster service delivery models to meet customer demand for unified communications services without the associated, capital, lease, or maintenance costs of a premises-based telephony system.

Oxford Networks selected BroadCloud for in-demand UC capabilities that can be rapidly delivered to their SMB customers, speeding time to new service revenues.
