Jones brings to Polycom more than 25 years global sales and leadership experience. His expertise lies in building, managing and motivating sales teams in partner-centric organizations. With a strong focus on enabling customer success and building a go-to-market strategy that leverages partners, Jones has successfully led worldwide sales teams to increase revenue even in highly competitive markets.

Jones joins Polycom from Avaya, where he was Vice President of Midmarket Sales, responsible for leading the global midmarket and worldwide distribution sales teams. While there, he built the overall strategy, organizational structure and implementation plan to deliver top-line revenue targets. He previously held various sales and channel leadership roles at Juniper Networks, Cisco Systems and Proxim Corporation. He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics, cum laude, from Duke University. He was named a Top 25 Channel Sales Leader in 2013 by CRN magazine.
