Long-time ScanSource executives take on new responsibilities GREENVILLE, SC – ScanSource, Inc., (NASDAQ: SCSC), a leading global provider of technology products and solutions, today announced new leadership roles within the company. Brian Cuppett has accepted the role of Senior Vice President for ScanSource KBZ. Yvette McKenzie has been named Vice President of Merchandising for ScanSource Communications, US and Canada. Brian Cuppett is a long-time employee of ScanSource, joining the company in 1998 as a sales representative. He was one of the original members of the team that would become ScanSource Communications. During his years at ScanSource, Mr. Cuppett has held multiple leadership positions, including Business Development Manager, Director of Business Development, Vice President of Sales for ScanSource Communications and, most recently, Vice President of Merchandising for ScanSource Communications. Through his extensive background, Mr. Cuppett brings more than 15 years of experience to his new role as Senior Vice President of ScanSource KBZ, where he will manage the strategic direction and oversight of the Cisco relationship. In 2015, ScanSource completed the acquisition of KBZ, a leading Cisco distributor specializing in video conferencing, cloud and services. Mr. Cuppett will report to Tony Sorrentino, co-president, Worldwide Barcode, Networking and Security at ScanSource. “Brian has been an integral component of ScanSource’s business for many years,” said Mr. Sorrentino. “He is a key player in the management and direction of the business, as we continue to develop and implement growth strategies. We look forward to his contributions in this new position.” Yvette McKenzie has been with ScanSource since 2000. She previously led the sales and merchandising teams in ScanSource’s POS and Barcode business in Latin America and Mexico, and has also held various management and senior executive roles at ScanSource, including Vice President of Merchandising for ScanSource POS and Barcode and ScanSource Communications. Ms. McKenzie brings over 30 years of channel experience as she enters the position of Vice President of Merchandising for ScanSource Communications, US and Canada, where she will oversee the management of all vendors in the business unit.
