In response to the expectations of its members regarding the evolution of the telecoms market, in particular the announcement of the end of the ISDN, and the arrival of new services related to mobility, The Groupe Convergence, a pioneer of new technologies, decided to invest in the convergence of communication and information technologies to offer Unified Communications and Fixed-Mobile Convergence services to its members.
After an extensive review, The Groupe Convergence has selected Centile, the leading European developer Cloud platforms, and its IstraCloud program powered by OpenIP.
Through this partnership, The Groupe Convergence and its members benefit from a mutualized, scalable and feature-rich operator platform, enabling them to offer innovative white label Unified Communications and Collaboration services to their corporate customers.
IstraCloud program – a White Label Unified Communications platform
IstraCloud enables wholesalers and integrators to become “virtual operators” and to quickly start their Unified Communications offering with a very limited financial and technical investment.
Hosted by OpenIP, the IstraCloud platform enables The Group Convergence not only to offer its members a turnkey unified communications solution in the company’s colors, but also to position themselves as a single point of contact with their member companies for the outsourcing of all their telecom and IT needs.
The convergent Centrex solution offered by The Groupe Convergence
The Centrex solution offered by The Groupe Convergence is an outsourced telephony solution offering a range of unified communications and collaboration services available from any type of terminal (fixed or mobile) including PBX features, auto attendant, voicemail to email, boss/secretary filtering, call restriction, groups management, interactive voice services (IVS), audio and video conferencing with screen sharing and presence.
In addition to the value-added and innovative services offered by the IstraCloud platform, corporate customers of The Groupe Convergence’s members will take advantage of Fixed-Mobile Convergence features including unique number, mobile twinning, unique voicemail and call continuity on a wide range of SIP terminals such as Gigaset and Snom.
Enterprise end-users will also benefit from Centile’s myIstra selfcare client, an interactive application leveraging the power of the PC and the phone (desktop and mobile) and allowing end-users to self-configure and manage their unified communications settings in a single interface (call control, voicemail, forwarding rules, corporate and personal contacts, instant messaging, LDAP and Outlook integration, blacklist, conference…).
Moreover, they will benefit from a competitive price offer, a proximity and trusted operator, a single point of contact and a single invoice.
According to Bertrand Pourcelot, Director General at Centile Telecom Applications, “Centile IstraCloud provides all the flexibility and cost-efficiency benefits of a multi-tenant platform. Additionally, as a turnkey solution with off-the-shelf portals and self-care tools, Centile IstraCloud enables The Groupe Convergence and its members to offer innovative white label Centrex services to their corporate customers.”
“With IstraCloud, we have now the full capabilities of a “Virtual” operator and we intend to benefit our members and their corporate customers. IstraCloud offers end-users new perspectives, especially with myIstra, a selfcare client available from any terminals (PC, tablet, Smartphone iOS and Android etc.) allowing to have a full access to their work environment: fixed & mobile telephony, calendar, email, chat, video conference, Salesforce CRM integration and presence management” remarks Jean-Michel Texier, CEO of The Groupe Convergence.
