Vonage, starting with end-user VoIP service, now adds business services with the quality businesses demand

Now a 15 year old company, Vonage is maturing as one of the largest cloud communications providers in the world. First servicing end-users, Vonage now supports 2 business solutions which provide quality and reliability to the business client, as described by Sanjay Srinivasan, Vonage Chief Architect, to Don Witt of The Channel Daily News, a TR publication. Sanjay continues by indicating that these solutions were the result of acquiring the leaders in the business solution market segment which were built to:

  • Scale
  • Provide high availability
  • High reliability

The Essentials Platform is a proprietary, self-serve, rapid provisioning and rapid delivery solution for smaller operations.

The Premier Platform is based on Broadsoft, one of the leaders in the VoIP phone service.

For both platforms, Vonage focuses on the business user experience. Their use of SDN and broadband service into facilities allows them to guarantee quality.

Vonage also provides interfaces for WebRTC and APIs to their clients allowing them to integrate the communications experience into their internal applications providing for a much richer end-user experience. This highlights the Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) and world we are now entering.

From sole proprietors to global enterprises with multiple locations, Vonage Business offers purpose-built cloud unified communications, feature-rich business phone systems, 15 + years of VoIP service experience, and award-winning customer support for every type of business.
