Yealink Provides 4,500 Phones for the New VoIP System of Johnston County School District, North Carolina, USA

The Johnston County School system in central North Carolina comprises 44 schools and a handful of administration buildings. A VoIP phone installation was direly needed as the school system included 50 different legacy Private Branch Exchange (PBX) systems that could not communicate with one another and that required significant upkeep. Carolina Digital won the bid with a best-of-breed cloud-based PBX solution that combines Yealink phones with a robust and proven unified communications platform powered by Third Lane Technologies. The selected Yealink phone models, including the SIP-T23G, the SIP-T42G and the SIP-T46G, provide high-definition (HD) voice technology that delivers lifelike voice quality. The T42G comes with up to 15 DSS keys and the T46G comes with up to 27 DSS keys.
