Destiny introduces Fiber-to-the-Business offer: affordable, reliable and high-performance fiber optic connection for SMEs

NEW OFFER RESPONDS TO INCREASED IMPORTANCE OF INTERNET, VIDEO AND CLOUD SOLUTIONS
Brussels, 3 September   2019 - Destiny - the Belgian provider of cloud communication solutions for innovative companies -today introduces its Fiber-to-the-Business offering that will be available in both Smartfit and Integra solutions. This gives Destiny customers direct access to a fast and stable fiber optic connection via the Destiny network, one of the most reliable in Belgium. To supply its telecom solutions, Destiny operates network-independent and uses the network of local players, both nationally and internationally. For example, last year a wholesale agreement on Fiber-to-the-Business with Proximus and the network renewed its strategic partner agreement with Eurofiber. That gives Destiny flexible access to both the new fiber optic network that Proximus is rolling out to companies and the ever-expanding fiber optic network of Eurofiber in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The digital transformation is a fact today and a boat that companies should not miss. The increasing use of internet in general, video communication and the transition to cloud solutions are also a clear trend, also among SMEs. As a result, there is a great need for more bandwidth and a secure and stable internet connection in this market segment today. Fiber optic technology offers an answer to this, since in theory it is actually unlimited, in contrast to the copper or cable (coax) technology that is often used today. Benefits "With the Fiber-to-the-Business offer in both of our cloud telecom bundles, we offer the mid-segment a super-fast, extremely reliable and constant internet connection without interruptions, which can respond to the demands of the digital tools of today and tomorrow," says Tim Schmit, Product Marketing & Presales Manager at Destiny. “The higher upload speeds - from 30 Mbps to 1 Gbps - also guarantee a user-friendly and pleasant way of working on cloud applications. And we always combine the higher speeds in our SmartFit solution with a strict SLA (Service Level Agreement) and 4G backup. As a supplier of cloud communication solutions, we are aware of the importance of reliable connectivity for the accessibility of our customers and how important it is for them that data is always available ”,    For supplying the fiber optic connections, Destiny uses the network of local players, giving the customer free choice. “We can actually work with any fiber optic supplier, just as we are network independent for the delivery of our other telecom solutions. We thereby proactively think along with our customers to realize the most suitable solution for them. Ultimately, everything depends on the wishes, the total solution and the location of the customer, "concludes Joachim Lauwers, Managing Director Belgium at Destiny.    Transparent offer Fiber-to-the-Business is available from today in both Smartfit and Integra solutions. The rates are transparent, customized and dependent on specific needs. For example, there is already a SmartFit Fiber Plus solution (250 Mbps download, 30 Mbps upload speed) for 95 euros / month, including 4G backup and SLA. The availability of the new offer can be checked with the trusted Destiny partners or on  www.destiny.be .
