Edgewater Networks and Polycom Develop New Unified Communications Multi-Level Intelligence Solution

SAN JOSE, Calif.--April 20, 2017-- Edgewater Networks, the leader in Network Edge Orchestration, in partnership with Polycom, Inc., a global leader in helping organizations achieve new levels of teamwork, efficiency and productivity by unleashing the power of human collaboration today announced the launch of the Unified Communications Multi-Level Intelligence Solution. The offering leverages years of collaboration between Polycom and Edgewater Networks and enables service providers and enterprises to collect, process and analyze vast amounts of information, including performance and management data from Polycom Voice endpoints, Edgewater Networks customer premises-based Intelligent Edges, and cloud analytics engines to deliver a superior customer experience. The solution offers seamless provisioning, configuration, proactive troubleshooting and management. The UC Multi-Level Intelligence Solution combines the power of Polycom’s advanced UC endpoints with Edgewater Networks’ Intelligent Edges and cloud-based Service Control Center to provide complete visibility into every voice and video call, from the WAN, through the customer LAN, to the Polycom Voice endpoint. With this complete set of detailed call data and statistics, performance issues and security threats can be proactively diagnosed and remediated centrally via Edgewater Networks’ EdgeView Service Control Center, eliminating the need for costly site visits and local IT intervention. “The combination of Polycom’s powerful and feature rich endpoints with Edgewater Networks’ Intelligent Edge and Service Control Center will allow our customers the full end-to-end visibility to proactively manage their environments and ensure an optimal end user experience, ” said Jim Kruger, Chief Marketing Officer and EVP at Polycom. Solution interoperability now includes support for Microsoft Skype for Business to compliment Polycom’s market alignment with the Microsoft as well as other providers including Broadsoft and Comcast.
