BOSTON--September 11, 2017-- Fuze, the leading cloud-based communications platform provider for the modern global enterprise, announced that Gartner, Inc. has recognized the Company as a Visionary in its 2017  Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS)Worldwide report. As one of 15 vendors evaluated in the annual report, Fuze was positioned the highest and furthest for ability to execute and completeness of vision within the Visionaries quadrant. Fuze’s vision is to power every business conversation. Through one simple, secure platform, technology leaders can transform communications, reduce cost, and empower people to seamlessly collaborate on any device – over voice, video, and messaging – whenever and wherever they want. Fuze has conducted key research centered on the future of work and digital transformation to drive strategy and innovation across the Company. Fuze led the market by taking the best technologies from key acquisitions in late 2015 and combining them into a single platform across voice, video, and messaging. In October 2016, it brought to market the first end-to-end streamlined experience that reimagined business communications for the modern enterprise. “The communications world is changing dramatically – social media, mobile workforce, productivity, collaboration, video. When you think about the way you communicate today compared to 10 years ago, it is completely different, and we are right at the forefront of this movement,” said Colin Doherty, CEO, Fuze. “As businesses increasingly find themselves supporting a more global, mobile workforce, we believe Gartner’s positioning of Fuze validates our investment in building the leading cloud-based, enterprise communications platform in the market. Additionally, as today’s CIOs and IT leaders continue to accelerate through digital workplace transformation from cost centers to productivity centers, they require solutions that nurture positive user experiences and seek partners who can deliver collaborative technologies to drive differentiation and success.” Fuze marked the first half of 2017 with  $134 million in funding, bringing its total funding to $334 million. The investment further validates the UCaaS market opportunity as more enterprises move their communications stack to the cloud. Fuze is using its latest round of funding to accelerate product innovation for the enterprise customer segment and to continue international expansion in Latin America and Asia Pacific. In February, Fuze announced the  general availability of Fuze Connect, allowing custom enterprise integrations that can present employees with meaningful, role-specific insights to improve the way they engage with customers, thereby improving the customer experience. In May, the Company announced  new product integrations with InContact Customer Interaction Cloud, combining Fuze’s global network and InContact’s best-of-breed contact center technology to offer an optimized experience for global contact centers. In keeping with its mission to power seamless communications across geographies and languages, the Company also announced the availability of its desktop and mobile applications in new languages including Spanish, French, and German. “We continue to lead innovation and seize market share by investing aggressively in what has made Fuze the obvious choice for so many global enterprises today: a cloud communications platform that seamlessly integrates voice, video, messaging, and collaboration into a simple, elegant experience,” said Steve Kokinos, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman, Fuze. “It is amazing to see how our vision has changed the way people work, and we believe this recognition by Gartner reinforces our market position and solidifies our strength as a driver of enterprise-wide digital transformation.” Download a complimentary copy of Gartner, Inc. 06 September 2017 Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide research report.
