Gamma Comunicaciones integrates its fixed telephony in Microsoft Teams after becoming its approved operator in Spain

Gamma Communications, presents in Spain Operator Connect for Microsoft Teams, a service that allows companies that use the Microsoft suite, add telephony functionalities for their users quickly and easily through the Microsoft administrator portal. Operator Connect for Microsoft Teams is the first service that Gamma Comunicaciones launches in Spain under its new brand. The parent company, Gamma Communications, acquired in 2020 VozTelecom, which has provided cloud communications services to small and medium-sized businesses for 20 years. The new service integrates the company's landline telephony with Microsoft Teams so users can make and receive all their calls through the Teams collaboration application. Gamma is the first cloud communications provider in Spain that integrates its fixed telephony with Teams through Microsoft's Operator Connect with a service designed specifically for SMEs, offering support to both the Microsoft partner and end customers if they hire it. Likewise, Gamma offers the service for large companies offering the possibility of activating telephony in Teams to all users of the organization easily and quickly. With Operator Connect, organizations opt for a better user experience within Teams, both for their internal and external communications, and for this Gamma offers attractive national and international call rates. Gamma announced the launch during a webinar convened by Microsoft for partners last March. The operator plans to continue developing actions to enable new Microsoft partners who wish to offer Operator Connect to their customers. In the age of digitalization, organizations are looking to simplify IT and communications, which is now possible by integrating enterprise telephony with Microsoft Teams and thereby replacing traditional hardware-based PBXs. According to Microsoft data published in January, more than 50% of users who have a Teams license use it daily as a collaboration tool. Several European consultancies place Operator Connect as the preferred way for Microsoft partners and their customers to activate voice in Teams, estimating that more than 500,2026 users in Spain will use Operator Connect in <>.
Add telephony in Microsoft Teams Operator Connect is a new carrier-managed Microsoft program that allows businesses to quickly and easily add landline telephony to their Teams app. To do this, companies simply choose Gamma Communications as the operator in the Teams portal and then activate voice for each of the application's users. Deployment and management are simple and easy to use through the Teams admin center. With the addition of this new integration solution, Gamma offers a simple option to Microsoft partners and their customers who want to combine fixed telephony with Microsoft Teams.
