Technical Sales Staff Expansion to Meet Growing Cloud Demand from Sales Partners
Petaluma, CA (November 10, 2015) – Intelisys Communications, Inc., the nation’s leading Technology Services Distributor, has hired Duane Barnes as Cloud Sales Engineer in a new role dedicated to Sales Partners in the Southeast Region of the United States. data center services experiences to Intelisys, most recently as Vice President of Presales and Professional Services for Open-Xchange. He will report to Raymond Nelson, Cloud Integration Specialist, East Region.
“We have seen explosive growth in the Southeast,” said Rick Ribas, VP of Sales, East Region, for Intelisys. “Placing a dedicated resource in that area became a priority, in order to address and expand that region even further. Duane was an exceptional candidate, and he is the perfect person to help our Sales Partners uncover and define cloud opportunities, as well as guide them to the right Suppliers at the right time, in order to take their businesses to the next level.”
Barnes’ expertise is in complex data center solutions and managed hosting projects; cloud computing; virtualization; cloud storage; SaaS; networking; BCDR; security and VoIP. He currently holds numerous industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, CompTia, HP and EMC. I look forward to helping to educate our Sales Partners and their customers on the wide variety of available cloud solutions. I’m committed to providing both scope and value.”
“Duane will hit the ground running, as he applies 17 years of experience in architecting systems to the varied Supplier Partners in our portfolio,” said Nelson.
