Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce Amanda Brookhyser has joined the Litigation Department in the firm’s Las Vegas office as a shareholder. She will focus on employment litigation, counseling and compliance.

“Amanda’s deep experience in employment law and workplace litigation, combined with her proven law firm leadership and trial experience, makes her an exceptional addition to our team,” said Adam Bult, Brownstein’s Litigation Department cochair. “Her ability to navigate complex employment disputes and advise clients across industries will be a tremendous asset to our firm and the businesses we serve.”

Brookhyser represents employers and individuals in disputes involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations and compliance with federal and state employment laws. She also has significant experience as lead counsel in complex business disputes and as a commercial litigator. Her practice spans litigation, arbitration, internal investigations and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Brookhyser has acted as senior counsel in employment-related matters before the EEOC and NERC, as well as in federal court, handling claims under Title VII, Title IX, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Wendell H. Ford Aviation Investment Act. She has litigated sex and gender discrimination cases and successfully represented clients in restrictive covenant and contract breach disputes through arbitration and trial. Brookhyser also advises businesses with multi-location operations on internal investigations, employment policies and state-specific compliance strategies. Her background in civil rights litigation and professional liability defense further strengthens her ability to navigate sensitive workplace matters.

Brookhyser received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and her J.D. from Drake University Law School.
