Aryaka®, the leading cloud networking provider, announced today that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Telehouse Europe, a subsidiary of KDDI Corporation. Aryaka selected Telehouse Europe as its preferred data center partner because of its connectivity with major cloud providers and enterprises, and the sheer volume of Internet traffic that goes through its data centers. Aryaka will continue to expand throughout the Telehouse global footprint. The partnership will enable the two companies to leverage complementary technology capabilities. Telehouse Europe customers can now immediately leverage the substantial benefits associated with Aryaka’s ground-breaking optimization technology. Aryaka’s optimization stack will be hosted in Telehouse, all of which are interconnected via KDDI’s global network. The two companies will build on each other’s cutting-edge technology to achieve market leadership. This is also the first step for Aryaka in establishing a long-term partnership with Telehouse Europe, one that is set to revolutionize the global enterprise WAN landscape. Telehouse Europe is a subsidiary of KDDI Corporation, a global $40 billion telecommunications and Internet Services technology giant, with a global footprint of offices across 28 countries and a solid track record of driving disruptive technologies into the mainstream market. As applications and data continue to move off-premises to cloud services, new WAN acceleration technologies are needed to support a range of enterprise deployment models — public, private, or hybrid. Since the access medium to all cloud services is primarily the Internet, application performance takes an obvious hit using current solutions. Traditional architectures and legacy WAN technologies like MPLS and appliance-based WAN optimization are proving both inefficient and ineffective for enterprise cloud initiatives. Aryaka’s software-defined, optimized private WAN as-a-Service, on the other hand, combines enterprise-grade private connectivity with patented TCP optimization, compression and application acceleration techniques. These technologies combine to deliver stable, reliable connectivity between international locations, and supercharge applications of all types (on-premises, cloud, and SaaS). Through this global strategic relationship, customers will now be better equipped to deal with the network challenges that come with cloud adoption. “We are excited to partner with Aryaka Networks,” said Mr. Hiroyuki Soshi, Managing Director of Telehouse Europe. “As one of the most connected locations on Earth with over 500 connectivity partners, our London Docklands campus provides the optimal environment for providers and users of Internet, cloud, network and System Integration services. Hosting Aryaka enables Telehouse to expand the connectivity options for our customers and deliver a superior optimization service through Telehouse Enhanced Connect. Telehouse will build on this to create more value for our wider business community through future services.” “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Telehouse,” said Mark Fogel, VP of Global Service Provider Alliances at Aryaka. “Aryaka is heavily invested in strategic and global partnerships to keep up with overwhelming enterprise demand. Through our partnership with Telehouse, we will gain substantial market share through a disruptive market penetration strategy.” More at www.telehouse.net and www.aryaka.com
