Summa and Voiceworks win Main Software 50 edition 2016

Almere, 4 November 2016 – The software company Summa has won the Main Software 50 in the category ‘overall’, together with its sister company and service provider Voiceworks. Since the beginning of 2015 Summa has provided innovative communications solutions to the international market. Voiceworks has been selling these solutions in the Netherlands since 2005. Summa and Voiceworks are the first organizations to stand on the podium of Main Software 50 for the second year in a row in five years. The selected companies are ranked over five criteria: the ‘substance’ of the company, the revenue growth, the level of quality and internationalization. The two companies have proved their success in all these criteria: They count on more than 200 employees, a 50% revenue growth in the first six months of 2016 compared to the same period in 2015, branches in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Serbia and high quality products and services. Internationalization Koen van Geffen, CEO of Summa and Voiceworks, received the the first place award in the overall category during the award ceremony on Thursday November, 3 rd, at The Harbour Club in Amsterdam: “Last year we started expanding internationally with the acquisition of the German MVNO Onephone and the launch of its sister company Summa, which develops software solutions. We are happy and proud that we were able to stand on this podium for the second consecutive year. This result represents the results that we achieved thanks to these steps. This year we have invested a lot in the expansion of our team so that we can keep guaranteeing the quality of our products and services”. Quality Summa develops innovative software solutions that Voiceworks delivers to the Dutch and German markets. By integrating communications solutions to all processes, Voiceworks improves the reachability and collaboration within all companies. Van Geffen: “We are proud that our solutions are used every day. To keep control of the quality we chose to develop our products and services ourselves, instead of purchasing them. This demands nothing but the best people; ambitious and driven employees with a lot of knowledge and expertise. In recent years this has been a big challenge. Developers, voice and mobile engineers are difficult to find in the Netherlands. The international expansion has helped us to find these people and will support our growth plans for the years to come.” This is the fifth year that the Main Software 50 takes place. The award is one of the most renowned amongst Dutch companies. About Main Software 50 Main Software 50 is a yearly assessment among independent software suppliers.
