Yorktel Unveils New VideoCloud Video Conferencing Services Portfolio

Solution Suite Supports Integration with Microsoft Lync and Office 365; Leverages Yorktel’s Global Hosted Video Infrastructure to Eliminate CAPEX Through Video Managed Services Model

Orlando (March 18, 2013) BOOTH# 737— Today from Enterprise Connect, Yorktel (@yorktelcorp), the worldwide leader in video managed services, today unveiled its new Yorktel VideoCloud™ video conferencing services portfolio.
An enterprise-class, cloud-based service portfolio for video conferencing, Yorktel VideoCloud™ enables customers to leverage Yorktel’s hosted video infrastructure in lieu of purchasing costly systems or to augment existing internal capabilities. VideoCloud™ is carrier network and device agnostic, and allows for multiple levels of connectivity ranging from standard H.323/SIP video conferencing rooms, desktop and mobile conferencing clients to Lync Federation and telepresence systems interoperability.
Yorktel VideoCloud™ supports full integration with Microsoft Lync and Office 365—the only provider with this ability. Users on any Microsoft Lync clients, including enterprise on-premise Lync server or Microsoft Office 365, can use VideoCloud to connect to video conferencing systems from Cisco, Polycom, Avaya (Radvision), Lifesize, and other vendors.
“Since our inception almost 30 years ago, we have championed the value of video and the need for its pervasiveness as a primary communications medium,” said Ron Gaboury, Yorktel Chief Executive Officer.  “Our mantra is that we make video work. With Yorktel VideoCloud™, we are providing the means for organizations of any size to realize the full potential of video conferencing, unified communications and visual collaboration without complexity or cost.
“Our proven approach to video managed services liberates customers from having to support multiple communications platforms and security protocols by instead choosing a single partner and solution for a cohesive, customized user experience.”
The Yorktel VideoCloud™ Services Portfolio provides three models, each of which offers a distinct solution that addresses the inherent challenges of video conferencing hindering organizations of all sizes.
VideoCloud Virtual Meeting Room: A reservation-less, on-demand video conferencing service interoperable with any H.323 or SIP compliant desktop, room or mobile video conferencing client.
VideoCloud Managed Conferencing Service: A fully managed conferencing service that provides cloud-based video conferencing bridging, call control, and management to support multipoint room video conferencing. This offering includes an expansive suite of services to ensure that important group meetings are successful, such as Reservations & Scheduling, Proactive Monitoring, Incident Management, Performance to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Maintenance, and User Experience Detailed Reporting
VideoCloud B2B Service: Serves as an extension of the managed corporate video conferencing environment, and enables a company to schedule and host external, inter-company video conference meetings. The VideoCloud™ B2B Service is secure for all participants because it is an outbound call for each company.
“The demand for real-time collaboration and visual communications continues to grow with each passing day. Yet, the fear of managing and integrating complex systems – and the associated costs and resource drain – prevents many CIOs from embracing video. Only Yorktel has the global resources, integration expertise, depth and breadth of offerings to comprehensively address issues such as security, network monitoring, QoS, and multi-vendor interoperability,” added Mr. Gaboury.
Yorktel Video Managed Services, VideoCloud™ and Managed Media Services portfolio offer myriad resources that are swiftly deployed, customizable and can scale as needed. From video conferencing and internal communications to streaming media and public broadcasts, Fortune 1000 corporations and federal government agencies in 84 countries have trusted Yorktel to create and manage their professional video productions, video communications and visual collaboration solutions.
