Crown develops innovative business software for communication, processes and web portals. In the Voice over IP market Crown is a pioneer and a technology leader, offering a flexible, scalable and secure enterprise-ready IP Centrex solution for international carriers and ISPs. Crown built its own multi-tenant IP Centrex solution from scratch to ensure no open source specific scalability limitations, or expensive carrier grade investment costs for hardware upgrades on the core network. German Red Cross and Deutsche Post are two of the enterprise customers using Crown’s IP Centrex.

Crown Software merged 2008 from the two companies. The first company is Crown Neue Medien GmbH, founded in 1996 that created one of the first CMS solutions. The second company is Entropia Software GmbH, founded in 2002 that developed real time software, including information systems used by Mercedes-Benz in the premier motor sport class.
