(September 14, 2015) – As part of its expanded focus on the Alabama and Florida coastal areas, C Spire Business Solutions has opened a new 8,495-square foot regional office in downtown Mobile offering an extensive portfolio of telecommunications and technology services for businesses. The office, located in the 34-story RSA-Trustmark building at 107 St. Francis Street, houses a 40-member staff that provides sales, account management, engineering, customer support, project management and administration, according to Marc Geis, general manager for C Spire. Geis said the company also has recently opened a 4,580 - square foot warehouse and distribution facility in Tillman’s Corner that will support consumer and business customers with a wide variety of products and services. “We’re expanding our presence in Mobile and the SunCoast region so consumers and businesses can have ready access to our growing suite of products and services,” Geis said. “As a company that gets its inspiration from our customers, we’re passionate about delivering world-class customer service.” Earlier this year, C Spire opened a new 4,000-square foot prototype retail store in the newly renovated Pinebrook Shopping Center in Mobile. The state-of-the-art store features design elements that capture the imagination, discovery and excitement associated with the wireless retail shopping experience. The store also features a fully-functional “hands on” demonstration area for products and services available through C Spire Business Solutions and a phone repair center where technicians can troubleshoot and fix mobile device issues on the spot. Mobile area business leaders said the telecommunications and technology services that C Spire provides are two important ingredients in the continued growth and economic development of the region. “We’re pleased that C Spire is growing and investing in Mobile and helping our region reach its potential,” said Kevin Carey, executive vice president and market president for Trustmark Bank. “We need locally-based telecom and tech business and C Spire has a great reputation as a solid company with excellent customer service – so this is a win-win for everyone involved,” said commercial real estate broker John Vallas of Vallas Realty, whose firm helped the company acquire all three expansion sites in Mobile. The new regional office, warehouse and distribution facilities and flagship retail store build on C Spire’s significant capital and network investments in Mobile and Baldwin Counties, including expanded availability of 4G LTE mobile broadband services for consumers and businesses along with a suite of enterprise-grade voice, data and cloud-based solutions for business.
