Ridgeland, Miss. (December 5, 2014) – Just in time for the holidays, C Spire is giving consumers and businesses who use some of its most popular shared data plans more data for less each month. The savings are featured on the company’s 10 GB, 15 GB and 30 GB shared data plans, resulting in savings ranging from $20 to $70 a month. Shared data plans, which feature automatic data overage protection, are quickly growing in popularity among families, friends and businesses who see the option as a simple, easy and convenient way to manage and control their spending on wireless service. Since introduction of new shared data options earlier this year featuring four lines with unlimited voice, text and 10GBs of data for $160 a month, the percentage of customers with a shared data plan has more than doubled on C Spire’s network. “We’re giving users more of what they want and need and that’s good news for everyone,” said David Hayes, vice president of Marketing for C Spire. “Giving our customers plans that work for their lives and their wallets has always been our top priority, which is why we are providing more shared data on our most popular plans each month.” C Spire’s shared data plan options offer unmatched flexibility with prices starting as low as $25 for 1 GB of data and ranging to $80 for 10 GBs for four smartphones, a cost of only $35 a line for a monthly savings of $20. Customers can also take advantage of the company’s device payment plan and its popular PERCS loyalty program for additional discounts, rewards and incentives. Customers who purchase a smartphone on the device payment plan are eligible for discounts of up to $15 a month on shared data smartphone plans with less than 10 GB of data or $25 a month for plans with 10 GB or more of data, both considerably less than the $40 monthly rate on a standard two-year contract. The device payment plan offers $0 down payment, 0% interest with 24 monthly payments and early upgrades after 14 months for qualified customers.
