Palo Alto – May 8, 2017 – Adit Khorana has joined Cooley’s Palo Alto office as a partner. He will lead the firm’s technology transactions group efforts in Northern California. Khorana arrives from WilmerHale, where he led the firm’s West Coast technology transactions practice. “Adit is one of the most respected and seasoned technology transactions lawyers in the country,” said Mike Lincoln, who chairs Cooley’s global business department. “With an increasing demand for complex technology transactions work, it’s powerful to leverage Adit’s expertise working with all manner of companies, from startups to Fortune 500, to add to our already strong offerings in this core space.” Khorana focuses his practice on representing technology companies primarily within the mobile, internet, electronic media, semiconductor, computer hardware and software sectors. Regularly representing companies in the structuring and negotiation of virtually all types of intricate domestic and global matters, Khorana also has extensive experience providing strategic counseling on all aspects of technology and IP law. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with many Cooley lawyers in the past, and I’m excited to support and grow the firm’s technology transactions group,” Khorana said.
