She recently advised Uber on its agreement with Yandex to create a joint venture for their ride-hailing businesses in Russia and surrounding territories. In 2016, she advised Medivation on its agreement to sell to Pfizer for $14 billion.
Valenzuela Santamaria’s practice focuses on securities, corporate governance and other complex business litigation, including the defense of securities class actions, derivative suits and M&A-related class actions. Among Valenzuela Santamaria’s recent victories is her successful representation of Pure Storage in a securities class action.
