One Source Networks Launches Global Cloud Lync Enterprise – Skype for Business

AUSTIN, Texas (May 12, 2015) – One Source Networks (OSN), the global Unified Communications (UC) and managed cloud services partner of choice for large enterprises, announced today that its Cloud Lync Enterprise – Skype for Business offering is now available on an international basis.

This announcement follows the March 16 North America market launch at Enterprise Connect, one of the industry’s leading events focusing on enterprise communications and collaboration. OSN’s Cloud Lync Enterprise – Skype for Business is a fully-managed, dedicated offering that provides all the feature functionality, privacy and customization of an on-premises Lync solution, delivered as a service. The solution helps companies collaborate with video, IM and presence, as well as full voice and PBX functionality, delivered seamlessly across multiple devices.

“Our ability to now offer Cloud Lync Enterprise – Skype for Business around the world is tremendously beneficial to our global enterprise customers,” stated Ernest Cunningham, CEO, One Source Networks. “The service leverages the comprehensive footprint of our global SIP-based network, allowing organizations to grow their reach and collaboration capabilities regardless of where they do business.”

OSN’s global voice network spans four continents with coverage for toll-free numbers in 120+ countries, DIDs in 65+ countries – 3,700+ cities – outside the U.S., and emergency services in 17 countries and territories. The network has been specifically designed to meet the performance demands of UC, based on hyperconverged architecture at each OSN global PoP, to offer optimized performance, improved availability and faster restoration times.

“One of the differentiators of our Skype offering is that it is truly robust from a network and architecture, as well as a solution environment, perspective,” commented Gina Nomellini, CMO, One Source Networks. “Our solution configurations include both geo-diverse and high-availability options for companies with the most stringent reliability requirements.”

As a managed service, Cloud Lync Enterprise – Skype for Business is backed by a Service Level Agreement for response time as well as availability, delivering the ability to fully replace a corporate PBX and providing companies with significant cost savings.
