TeleWare and SIPHON Networks celebrate new partnership

teleware-logoLondon, 9th December 2016 – TeleWare today announced that it has signed a new partnership with SIPHON Networks (SIPHON), part of the Nuvias Group. This builds off TeleWare’s partnering for growth philosophy and reflects its dedication to working with companies that can offer differentiation and collaboration to mutually enhance value. SIPHON Networks Ltd. was established in 2009 to support Service Providers with the launch of innovative Cloud Telephony services through the deployment of various products to create a single, integrated and centralised platform. By working with Service Providers and other siphon-logochannel partners across the European region, SIPHON has accumulated a unique skill set and expertise in delivering Cloud Telephony for BroadSoft and Microsoft environments. Today, SIPHON is at the forefront of innovation in this area, supporting its customers in the delivery of a full Unified Communications (UC) experience. TeleWare services then ensure a seamless unified communications experience. Working with SIPHON provides TeleWare with further sector-spanning capabilities and know-how and allows end users to receive ‘enterprise now’ technology, which is operational immediately, with no interruption of service. Initially, the partnership will focus on enhancements to Microsoft capability, especially Skype for Business. To celebrate their new partnership, TeleWare and SIPHON were both sponsors of this year’s UC Day in Birmingham on 24 th October 2016. The event aims to bring the success of global conferences such as Ignites and AzureCon to the UK. It focuses on the Microsoft Office 365 unified communications product suite and, in 2016, had a special focus on Skype for Business and the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. The event attracted IT professionals, industry experts, vendors and Microsoft partners from all over the world. TeleWare and SIPHON were presented with a great opportunity to introduce their joint offerings at the conference. Steve Harris, MD SIPHON said, “Working with TeleWare just makes sense for us. We’re of a very similar mindset in terms of culture and our attitude towards collaboration. We’ve been discussing the possibility of a partnership since around June this year and it’s good to make it official. The nature of the work we do will mean that we will be able to provide what is essentially an end-to-end service and smooth the way for companies to implement genuine unified communications.” Steve Haworth, CEO TeleWare said, “This keeps the momentum going on our partnership program, which has really taken off in 2016. The basis of this new partnership is Microsoft’s Skype for Business, which made UC Day the perfect place to really start talking about it and demonstrate and explain our plans to the industry. UC Day is a very welcome addition to the UK’s ICT calendar and we’re proud to have played a direct sponsorship role this year.” The partnership between the two companies was officially signed in December 2016. Polycom also hosted the UC Day booth with TeleWare and Siphon. More at www.teleware.com and http://www.siphonnetworks.com/.
