FreedomVoice Unveils Business Continuity Solution for Voice at DRJ Fall World 2012

FreedomVoice Business Continuity will keep businesses connected to their customers when their traditional phone systems fail. Encinitas, CA (PRWEB) September 07, 2012 FreedomVoice Systems, one of the largest US providers of cloud-based VoIP phone systems, today announced the release of a new business tool designed to keep businesses running in the event of a PBX phone system failure. FreedomVoice will attend Disaster Recovery Journal Fall World in San Diego, Ca. from September 9-12 at Booth 51 to showcase the new business continuity solution.

More than a disaster recovery product, FreedomVoice Business Continuity works with a company’s existing premise based PBX as a fully-redundant, always-on virtual phone service that acts as an automatic failover in the event a disaster knocks out their business phone system. Callers will never receive dead air or an “all circuits are busy” message.

When a phone system fails due to natural disaster or hardware failure, the system kicks on and automatically reroutes calls simultaneously to a set of preconfigured numbers (e.g. cell phones) ensuring no call goes unanswered. The system remains active until the company’s PBX can be brought back online.

“We have seen such devastation recently with wildfires and hurricanes,” says FreedomVoice CEO and founder Eric Thomas. “We wanted to create a product to help businesses affected by disaster to stay in contact with customers. FreedomVoice Business Continuity will make a real difference for businesses and their customers affected by PBX failure.”

The service has already been given peace of mind to a select group of early users. “In an area where disaster often strikes, we have no choice but to have something in place to protect our business,” says Chuck Lenzen of US Equipment Co. “FreedomVoice Business Continuity was a no-brainer for us. After thoroughly testing the solution, we are confident we can ride out any storm.”
