ISCOORD PROVIDES GLOBALINX VIDEO CALLING APP FOR ANDROID

September 13, 2011 (Rochester, NY / Zurich, Switzerland) – GLOBALINX® and iscoord announced the release of the GLOBALINX Mobile Video (GMV) App for Android devices. GLOBALINX customers will be able to make mobile video and voice calls on selected Android phones or tablets over a 3G/4G or Wi-Fi connection.

The GMV, powered by iscoord, will enable users to make high-quality video calls to any other GLOBALINX VideoPhone user who subscribes to GSP-10, CU-3000, CU-2000, or 8831, services.  The easy-to-use GMV app will also feature the ability to make and receive voice calls to GLOBALINX and non-GLOBALINX users and employ advanced security for safe operations.
“We are proud to help GLOBALINX launch a video conferencing service to be available on smartphones and tablets in North America,” said Roger Schneider, CEO, iscoord. “This service meets market demand in terms of open-standards, flexibility, and lower communications cost.”
“The GMV has a simple interface and is very easy to use,” said GLOBALINX Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mike Machonkin.  “The GMV also includes many features such as unlimited calling to the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, and the USVI, plus voice mail, call forwarding and much more making the GMV more valuable than other video calling apps on the market.”
The GMV is designed to run on Android devices running at least version 2.3.2.
