Fonality Continues Expansion of Partner Program, Launches Advisory Council

(DALLAS) – Fonality, a pioneer of cloud-based business phone solutions for small and mid-size businesses (SMB), today announced the expansion of its partner program, including new channel program benefits and an advisory council that further demonstrate the company’s commitment to grow and foster the Fonality channel partner program. The enhancements to the program will include a streamlined partner onboarding process, an online training program and dedicated marketing resources. The Fonality Partner Plus Program offers partners a portfolio of innovative business communication and contact center solutions. With an expanded ecosystem that enables partners to participate based on specific business objectives, the program ultimately provides partners with the opportunity to increase revenue and broaden their communications portfolio to customers with either cloud or on-premise solutions. “The Fonality Partner Plus Program is unique in the way it enables our partners to offer solutions with adaptable technology and flexible deployment methods,” said John Young, vice president of channel development at Fonality. “Fonality is committed to growing the channel business. We doubled our dedicated sales and marketing resources this year after a 20 percent revenue growth in 2011. With the continued investment into the program along with a fully-engaged advisory council, we are on track for a 30 percent sales increase this year.” Young added, “The partner advisory council will provide a forum to exchange ideas directly with our leadership team to ensure their business can thrive in an ever-changing marketplace. We expect this panel to have a large impact on the entire channel as we continue to evolve our programs.” Fonality’s partner advisory council meeting will take place on October 2 in Austin, TX at the ITExpo West 2012 Conference The Fonality partner ecosystem spans from referral partners and agents, who can refer leads to receive compensation based on the sale, to premium level resellers who can open new revenue streams by selling Fonality solutions. Additionally, it expands to national accounts, which in many cases, work closely with Fonality to create customized programs to match their business model. Regardless of the level, partners are empowered with the flexibility to adopt a portfolio that fits their customers’ needs, whether cloud or premise-based. Levels include:
  • Referral Partner/Agent – At this level, partners can refer leads and receive residual or one time compensation based on closed sales.
  • Authorized/Certified Partner – Through a collaborative certification program, partners lead the sales and support process for Fonality solutions. Partners work closely with dedicated Fonality channel managers and sales engineers to grow and develop through technical education and marketing tools.
  • Premium Partner – The highest participation level in our partner tiers. Premium resellers participate in an extended certification program that includes technical and product certifications. These partners will also have the opportunity to participate in the Fonality Partner Advisory Council to gain additional product roadmap insight and help shape channel programs.
Each partnership level offers specific benefits, including the new certification programs and an enhanced online training tool to be launched in Q4-2012. The online training tool will allow accelerated onboarding and training through an interactive training program via the Fonality partner portal. "We began selling Fonality's communication solutions as a premium reseller five years ago, said Ikki Boudarghamand, owner of DateTel Consulting, a San Diego-based business consultancy that specializes in healthcare telecommunication solutions. “In particular, the advisory council carries a tremendous amount of weight because it's a chance to truly understand the vision of Fonality and how they value their channel. The ability to influence the growth of Fonality's channel program is a huge incentive, as it ultimately affects my business.” In addition to hosting the Q4 partner advisory council in Austin, Fonality will be an exhibitor at ITExpo West 2012 at booth No. 403, and will participate in key panel discussions at the Cloud Communications Expo. Fonality will be showcasing the entire solutions portfolio, including Fonality Heads Up Display (HUD) and the recently announced Fonality HUD Mobile. In addition, the remaining Fonality 5, an ongoing “innovation series” of rollouts over the coming months to help growing SMBs save time, communicate more efficiently and reduce costs, will also be showcased.
