Nicole Ament Recognized as one of Connect Media’s 2022 Lawyers in Real Estate

December 15, 2022 - Nicole Ament, chair of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Real Estate Department, was recognized by Connect Media as one of its 2022 Lawyers in Real Estate. For its third annual Lawyers in Real Estate Awards, Connect Media selected 110 attorneys from around the U.S. representing a variety of disciplines. Recipients were selected for excelling in their practices as well as their contributions to the community. Ament was one of 10 attorneys recognized in the Phoenix & Southwest region. In her role as chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department, Ament oversees all the attorneys in the department, acts as a mentor to new shareholders and associates and drives the overall strategic direction of the group working directly with the firm’s Executive Committee. In her practice, she focuses on land use, development, financing and disposition, and she spearheads transactions featuring complex portfolios and large single assets. Ament draws on diverse experience navigating complicated development and land use issues, to ensure her clients across the nation—from hotels and ski resorts to second-home communities and mixed-use developments—maximize opportunities. She currently serves on the board of directors of Denver Civic Ventures and Parkinson Association of the Rockies and previously served as co-chair of the firm’s Women’s Leadership Initiative, and on the committees of five advocacy and charitable groups, including Habitat for Humanity and the Urban Land Institute.
