Software supplier Summa acquires UC division of technology company Anoxtech and opens new lab in Belgrade

Almere, The Netherlands, 12 May 2016 – The international software company Summa has announced the acquisition of the UC division of Anoxtech with its offices in Naarden (the Netherlands) and Belgrade (Serbia). With this acquisition Summa aims to increase its investment in innovation for its leading edge communications solutions and expanding its development labs to better suit the market demand. The cooperation between Summa and Anoxtech started about five years ago, when Anoxtech was looking for a VoIP partner to integrate their UC software. Summa has proven to be the right candidate with its state-of-the-art virtual PBX platform. Combining their respective skills, the two companies participated in several tenders and eventually decided to bundle their expertise in several cutting edge projects. Examples of their successes are the implementation of UC solutions in marketplaces such as NEC, Voiceworks and Open-Xchange. The acquisition of the UC division of Anoxtech was the logical step towards Summa’s goal of creating a global software company characterized by its leading technical expertise.
