Law360 Names Cooley a Litigation Powerhouse

Palo Alto – July 28, 2016 – Law360 has named Cooley a Litigation Powerhouse in its inaugural list of the top 50 litigation law firms in the United States. Firms were chosen for leveraging “deep legal talent to score remarkable wins” throughout the past year. Cooley placed #13 on the elite list.

“This recognition is a tremendous testament to the work our litigators do every day,” said Mike Attanasio, chair of Cooley’s global litigation department. “Many of the world’s most successful and cutting-edge companies repeatedly turn to Cooley due to the depth of our litigation and trial experience and our dedication to consistently achieving the best outcome for our clients. Our culture of teamwork and advocacy is second-to-none, and we look forward to continuing to achieve extraordinary results for our clients around the globe.”

Cooley has received a string of recent litigation accolades, including by Law360 for the fourth time in five years as a Privacy Group of the Year; by the American Lawyer as an IP Litigation Finalist in its biennial AmLaw Litigation Department of the Year awards; by the Financial Times for litigating on behalf of clients Gilead and Kinder Morgan in its annual FT Most Innovative Lawyers special feature; and by Thomson Reuters Monitor Suite as the most active securities litigation defense firm in the US in 2015.
