BLUEOSS APPOINTS TIM COOK AS CEO

ANNAPOLIS, MD - February 4, 2014 - BlueOSS, a leading provider of cloud billing and provisioning management tools, announces the appointment of co-founder Tim Cook into the role of Chief Executive Officer.  A seasoned telecommunications veteran, Cook’s background enables him to successfully guide the company into the rapidly growing cloud market. As co-founder of BlueOSS, Cook has overseen the company’s operations as well as the design and development of its Cloud Innovation Suite (CIS) and overall services portfolio.  In his new role, Cook is responsible for setting and overseeing the company’s strategy and vision, spearheading top-line revenues generated through sales, marketing and product management as well as developing and executing the company’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sales and marketing strategies. “Tim’s vision as co-founder and overall leadership have played an integral role in the design and development of the Cloud Innovation Suite (CIS) as well as the company’s overall service portfolio,” says Hal Shear, Chairman of the Board for BlueOSS.  ”His years of expertise in the industry and remarkable contributions across the company have positioned BlueOSS to continue an extraordinary path of growth and profitability.  Our goal is to continue to utilize these strengths to build on the momentum of BlueOSS.” Cook brings over 20 years of enterprise sales, marketing, sales management and product management experience to BlueOSS.  Prior to BlueOSS, he served as Vice President at Votela, a leading distributor for Siemens OpenScape Cloud Services and a specialized carrier providing voice and unified communications in the cloud.  There, he oversaw the company’s day-to-day operations related to channel development and channel sales.  Before Votela, Cook served as the Director of Sales at Force 3 , a leading provider of information technology solutions and support services to the Federal Government, where he was responsible for building and growing “Force 3 Systems” – a new entity serving the Washington, D.C./Baltimore metro area.  In this position, he generated $20M in sales during the course of his leadership.
