OneLogin today announced the addition of RSA SecurID® technology as a pre-integrated option to its Identity & Access Management (IAM) Service. RSA SecurID technology is the market-leading multi-factor authentication system from RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE: EMC), protecting millions of user identities across more than 30,000 organizations worldwide. As one of the first cloud-based IAM (Identity & Access Management) providers to integrate RSA SecurID technology, OneLogin now offers its customers one of the widest arrays of pre-integrated, strong authentication options.
“As enterprises begin moving more and more sensitive data into the cloud and rapidly adopting Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), organizations are more focused than ever on security. By leveraging RSA SecurID technology and OneLogin, organizations can help increase security and decrease the potential for unauthorized access to sensitive applications and data”
“This integration enables companies already using RSA SecurID technology to leverage their existing investment to more easily help secure access to cloud applications via OneLogin’s turn-key solution,” said Thomas Pedersen, Chief Executive Officer of OneLogin. “The RSA SecurID integration helps further establish OneLogin as one of the fastest-to-deploy IAM solutions for web applications.” OneLogin uses RSA SecurID technology as a second strong authentication factor to help prevent unauthorized access to OneLogin. In addition to their personal password, users can be required to also enter a one-time password generated by RSA SecurID technology. Using multiple authentication factors helps prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data by just guessing an employee’s password. OneLogin also allows existing RSA SecurID customers to integrate their RSA Authentication Manager in a matter of minutes. “As enterprises begin moving more and more sensitive data into the cloud and rapidly adopting Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), organizations are more focused than ever on security. By leveraging RSA SecurID technology and OneLogin, organizations can help increase security and decrease the potential for unauthorized access to sensitive applications and data,” said Stu Vaeth, Director, Strategic Technology Alliances, RSA, The Security Division of EMC. OneLogin is offering RSA customers a free single sign-on plan allowing SecurID sign-in to any three cloud-based applications for unlimited users, as well as real-time synchronization with an Active Directory.
