Cloud Communications Alliance (CCA) to Serve As Exhibitor and Major Sponsor of ITEXPO

Members of Industry Group to Evangelize the Growing Relevance and Importance of Moving Telecommunications to the Cloud

Delray Beach, Fla., Sept. 21, 2012 – The Cloud Communications Alliance (CCA), the industry’s only organization specifically dedicated to the advancement of cloud communications technologies, announced that it will be exhibiting and serving as a Gold Sponsor at next week’s ITEXPO in Austin, Texas.  Members of the CCA will be on hand to meet with conference attendees to discuss the many topics that are becoming increasingly relevant to enterprises, including the benefits of moving telecommunications services into the cloud, cloud communications best practices and more. “The CCA was formed to move the industry forward by expanding awareness and development of cloud communications standards and services,” said Clark Peterson, CEO of Telesphere and Chairman of the CCA.  “It’s a category that has gained acceptance among businesses, yet there are still many more companies that are interested in learning about how, why and when to implement solutions.  We’re looking forward to evangelizing these points and more at ITEXPO.” In addition to being a Gold Sponsor of ITEXPO, CCA is also a Platinum Sponsor of StartupCamp.  StartupCamp is an entrepreneur pitch event focused on the communications industry that is being held in conjunction with ITEXPO.  The event – which will be held Thursday, October 4 -- will feature a keynote by Mike Tessler, co-founder of Broadsoft and one of the foremost visionaries behind the cloud communications movement. CCA membership is comprised of 25 leading communications companies, each of which helps arm organizations with the most advanced Cloud Communications Solutions.  These solutions include voice, data, and video services that give customers HD voice and video over a combination of the latest IP network technology and Cloud Unified Communication features.  These cloud-based technologies and leading organizations provide these solutions in a highly secure and redundant environment to create a very scalable service that offers savings through reduced up-front capital needs and lower ongoing operational costs. The CCA will be exhibiting at booth #508 at ITEXPO, which will be held October 2 – October 5, 2012 at the Austin Convention Center.  For more information, or to set up a meeting with a CCA representative at the conference, contact Joseph Marion at jmarion@cloudcommunications.com or call (888) 752-0442.
