CCA files with FCC on 911 charges

CCA has joined its voice with other providers of interconnected VoIP services to urge the Federal Communications Commission to overturn state laws that impose discriminatory 911 fees and charges. The CCA letter supports a petition to preempt state laws that impose higher total 911 fees on interconnected VoIP services than on similarly situated traditional voice services sold to business customers.
