ABA Names Beatriz Mejia Vice Chair of Antitrust Section Committee

San Francisco – May 12, 2017 – The American Bar Association has appointed Cooley litigation partner Beatriz Mejia as vice chair of the cartel and criminal practice committee of the association’s antitrust section. Focusing her practice on complex business disputes and general business litigation, Mejia has significant experience on international cartel investigations. She has represented both corporations and individuals in government investigations brought by antitrust authorities around the world. As an active member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, the California La Raza Lawyers Association and La Raza Lawyers Association of San Francisco, Mejia is also currently serving as a board member for Centro Legal de La Raza, a legal services agency in Oakland, and as a board member of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
