BroadSoft Acquires Adaption Technologies

GAITHERSBURG, MD--(Marketwire - Aug 6, 2012) -   BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ:  BSFT) today announced it has acquired the assets of Texas-based Adaption Technologies Ventures, Ltd., a provider of hosted business VoIP solutions. The acquisition will enable BroadSoft® to enhance its BroadCloud™ Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery platform to include BroadWorks®' award-winning features and functionality. With the addition of Adaption Technologies' infrastructure and Rialto®, a web-based service operating platform, telecommunications service providers will be able to more quickly sell, provision, activate and bill for their hosted Unified Communications services.
