BroadSoft Extends the Reach of its BroadCloud Managed Service with Voxbone

Voxbone logoSAN FRANCISCO--( BUSINESS WIRE)-- BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ: BSFT) will now rely on Voxbone’s inbound DID numbers to extend the global reach of its BroadCloud® unified communications service. The key features that led BroadSoft to choose Voxbone’s services are its global coverage, real-time provisioning, and number portability support. In recent years, the growth of the enterprise voice market – historically dominated by premise equipment vendors – has been led by communications service providers (CSPs). This is largely due to advances in cloud computing technology, which have allowed CSPs to bypass these traditional vendors with Cloud PBX and Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) offerings. Many of these CSPs use BroadSoft’s managed service, BroadCloud, to enable UCaaS. BroadCloud helps CSPs worldwide offer reliable UC solutions for the enterprise market. Voxbone’s local inbound DID numbers will extend BroadCloud’s global reach to more than 55 countries and 8,000 cities. “BroadCloud’s key differentiators are its simple business work-flow and its ability to enable rapid innovation that will set our customers apart from their competition,” said Mike Wilkinson, VP Product Marketing at BroadSoft. “Voxbone complements these benefits by offering a one-stop shop for global DID numbers, real-time provisioning and number portability. These capabilities, combined with the fact that Voxbone’s services are delivered over a carrier-grade network, made them the obvious choice for us and our BroadCloud offering.” Voxbone’s DID numbers enable unified communications providers like BroadSoft to expand the reach of their services internationally. These services are delivered through a unique network that interconnects the local PSTN in more than 55 countries via a private global IP backbone. Lead times for obtaining phone numbers and call capacity with Voxbone are seconds instead of the months it can take with traditional telecommunications service providers. More at www.voxbone.com.
