Brownstein Attorneys Recognized on 2024 Southwest Super Lawyers List

Eric Burris and Reema Nandy, shareholders in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Albuquerque office, have been named to the 2024 Southwest Super Lawyers list. On an annual, state-by-state basis, Super Lawyers uses peer nominations and evaluations alongside third-party research to select its candidates. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.

For more than three decades, Burris—office managing partner of the firm’s Albuquerque office—has represented high-profile clients in the health care, financial services, real estate and other highly regulated industries. He is known for handling contentious matters—product liability, construction/delay claims, employment and labor issues, antitrust claims and class action law suits to name just a few—and has a list of successes to show for it. His commercial litigation work involves everything from the simplest alternative dispute resolution procedures, American Arbitration Association claims and administrative hearings and trials, to jury and non-jury trials in state and federal courts. He was recognized in the general litigation category.

Nandy’s experience in both the public and private sectors makes her a particularly effective commercial litigator. In her practice, Nandy handles a wide variety of complex commercial disputes for clients in federal and state courts. Leveraging her years of experience in both the civil and criminal context, Nandy consistently achieves successful outcomes for clients, whether through settlement negotiations, motions practice or trial. A wide range of clients across the banking, manufacturing and automotive industries rely on Nandy’s experience, expertise and judgment to navigate litigation matters impacting their business. She was recognized in the civil litigation: defense category.
