Brownstein Leaders Listed on ColoradoBiz’s Spring 2025 Power List

Three Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck leaders—Chairman and Founder Norm Brownstein, Managing Partner Rich Benenson and Real Estate Department Chair Blair Lichtenfels—were named to ColoradoBiz’s Spring 2025 Power List. According to the publication, the list includes some of the most influential and respected practitioners in law and other key industries in Colorado.

Chairman Brownstein founded the firm in 1968 with Steve Farber and Jack Hyatt. He opened a government relations office in Washington, D.C., in 1995, which has grown into one of the largest, most successful bipartisan government relations practices in the history of the U.S. He has impacted our nation’s public policy for over four decades, and the D.C. office’s success can be credited to his passion for political advocacy and relentless pursuit of solutions to clients’ problems. He was honored in the Business Law Category. To read his Power List profile, click here.

Benenson works closely with clients, attorneys, policy advisors, staff and industry and community leaders to drive the firm’s strategic growth and development. From leading new ways to enhance client value to building and retaining a team of legal and government relations talent, he is committed to helping Brownstein’s clients and employees thrive. Benenson was recognized in the Business Litigation category. To read his Power List profile, click here.

Lichtenfels advises prominent developers and equity investors in connection with urban infill, brownfield, master-planned, mixed-use and transit-oriented developments. With a track record of navigating Colorado’s increasingly more competitive and regulated development and real estate market, Lichtenfels handles the entitlement, acquisition, development and sale of real property throughout the Western United States. She was recognized in the Real Estate/Construction Law category. Read her Power List profile here.
