Brownstein’s Elaine Bailey Joins Special Olympics Colorado’s Young Professionals Board

June 18, 2019 - Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Elaine Bailey, an associate in the firm’s Denver office, has joined the Special Olympics Colorado Young Professionals Board (YPB). The Special Olympics Colorado YPB helps promote the organization’s mission to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. Prior to joining Brownstein, Bailey was a law clerk for the Special Olympics in Washington, D.C. Additionally, she has volunteered with various organizations to help individuals with disabilities participate in sports. “I think Special Olympics Colorado is a great organization and its work truly helps individuals with disabilities participate in sports they love,” she said.
