CCA comments on Caller Authentication to the FCC

The Cloud Communications Alliance urged the FCC to mandate that legacy TDM networks upgrade to IP to preserve STIR/SHAKEN caller ID authentication. We also argued that the cost of upgrades should be borne by TDM providers—not IP networks and that the FCC should eliminate

STIR/SHAKEN exemptions for non-IP networks.
