Cooley Continues Ascent on Vault's List of "Top 100 Law Firms"

cooleyPalo Alto – June 26, 2015 – For a second consecutive year, Cooley has made a significant jump on Vault's list of the "Top 100 Law Firms" in the United States. Moving up seven places from last year, Cooley is now in the 38th spot on Vault's coveted list. According to Vault: "It's clear which firms have a good thing going. Cooley is now a Top 40 Vault firm after joining the Top 50 for the first time last year." Descriptions of Cooley by attorneys at peer firms included, "top firm for startups;" "great at IP;" and "gets all the deals." The Vault Law 100 list is based on scores from more than 17,000 law firm associates who were asked to rate law firms on a scale of 1 to 10 based on prestige. Survey respondents were not allowed to rate their own firms and were asked to only rate firms with which they were familiar. In addition to its new place among the top 40 firms on Vault's list, Cooley was recently recognized by Fortune magazine as one of the "100 Best Workplaces for Millennials," and in March the firm moved to #42 on Fortune's "100 Best Companies to Work For" list – up 58 spots from the previous year. About Cooley LLP Clients partner with Cooley on transformative deals, complex IP and regulatory matters, and high-stakes litigation, where innovation meets the law.
