London – October 6, 2015 – In its annual report of the most innovative lawyers in Europe, the Financial Times recognized Cooley's London office in two categories. For dispute resolution, Cooley was listed as one of just ten "standout" firms. The FT noted that Cooley "enabled clients with limited resources to litigate by managing the risk of losing through technology, third-party funding and after-the-event insurance." Cooley partner Mark Deem was mentioned for his notable work in this arena. For growth and business development, Cooley was "commended" for its "overnight expansion in London," which saw 20 partners launch the office on January 12, 2015. In the months since, five more lateral partners have been announced, with more on the way.
