The mobile-enabled solution gives users of the SAP® Hybris Cloud for Customer and SAP Hybris Commerce solutions access to embedded, advanced real-time communications features from their iPads, enabling them to interact and collaborate with chat, voice, video, and screen sharing remotely to resolve, update and complete activities within their workflow and in context. “Mobile is crucial to business today, and the iPad has evolved into a powerful business tool,” said Paul Pluschkell, Executive Vice President, GENBAND and Founder & CEO of Kandy. “With more than 20 new companies activated in the last quarter, we’re confident that customers who leverage our extensions for SAP Hybris solutions for real-time communications capabilities will deliver a surge of innovative business outcomes.” Whether it’s video chat, screen sharing, collaboration or specialized functionality such as Live Support, customers, partners and employees can now access GENBAND’s powerful suite of robust, embedded communications on their mobile device via a simple embedded icon or link. Based on GENBAND’s award-winning Kandy communications Platform as a Service (cPaaS), GENBAND Extensions for SAP Hybris solutions deliver business-ready, contextual communications to an increasingly mobile and connected workforce. Users can easily click on the RTC icon within their mobile app to activate these extensions on their iPad via an AppStore download. GENBAND Extensions for SAP Hybris solutions are available on Hybris Extend Marketplace, an online integration marketplace offering access to best-of-breed applications, extensions and network services developed by SAP Hybris partners, all of which are optimized to work with the SAP Hybris Commerce solution.
