Leadership Change at Snom Technology GmbH

Snom Technology GmbH, a leading provider of IP-based telephony and communication solutions for professional and business sectors, is announcing a key change to its leadership team.
After nine years of dedicated leadership, Gernot Sagl, CEO for EMEA and APAC and Managing Director of Snom, stepped down on March 31, 2025. Under Gernot’s guidance, Snom successfully navigated a complex transformation phase following its acquisition by VTech Group in 2016, evolving Snom into a globally recognised brand in the telecommunications industry. The Snom Board of Directors is grateful for his contributions in the past and wishes him continued success in his future endeavours.
The Snom Board of Directors is also pleased to announce the promotion of Fabio Albanini to Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations for EMEA and APAC with immediate effect. Previously serving as Vice President of Sales for EMEA and APAC, Fabio has been an integral part of Snom since 2009. In his new role, he will take on further responsibilities, overseeing Snom’s sales, marketing and operations in EMEA and APAC. After his promotion, Fabio will directly report to Hillson Cheung, President of Telecommunication Products at VTech.
