MASERGY EXPANDS MARKETPLACE FOR CLOUD SERVICES

On-net Partner Ecosystem Simplifies Connectivity to Cloud Service Providers

DALLAS – October 09, 2013 – Masergy Communications Inc., a global leader in  managed networking services and  cloud communications, today announced the expansion of its Masergy Marketplace. The Masergy Marketplace is comprised of on-net partners who leverage the company’s global IP/MPLS network to deliver services to customers through simplified connectivity. The Masergy Marketplace facilitates rapid deployment of third-party services by eliminating the physical interconnections and cables typically required. When a Marketplace partner is selected by a customer, Masergy creates a virtual path for instant, software-enabled access to the partner’s cloud service. “Masergy is helping to bridge the gap between services our customers require and the providers who deliver them,” said John Dumbleton, senior vice president of business development for Masergy. “Our Marketplace helps simplify the selection process by directly interconnecting with experienced cloud providers to reduce complexity in multi-vendor deployments.” "SoftLayer's global cloud platform delivered over Masergy’s network gives customers access to our global network of data centers, providing them the reliability and guaranteed customer experience they require,” said Marc Jones, VP of Product Innovation for SoftLayer, an IBM Company.
