Masergy's Cloud f(n) Router Wins Second NFV Innovation Award Since Its June 2015 Introduction

Business Intelligence Group Gives New Offering 2015 Stratus Award for Cloud Routing Services
Dallas – August 5, 2015 – Masergy Communications Inc., a global leader in managed networking and cloud services, today announced that the Business Intelligence Group has selected the company’s Cloud f(n) Router for a distinguished 2015 Stratus Award. The Cloud f(n) Router received its most recent accolade for providing Network Function Virtualization (NFV) capabilities that allow companies to deploy network features entirely via software running on commodity hardware. Selected for the Managed Service Provider of the Year category, the Cloud f(n) Router impressed judges by providing Masergy customers a cost-effective and flexible managed router service. The crowd-sourced industry awards program recognizes companies and their services, whose innovative approaches are helping to accelerate the development and adoption of the cloud in consumer and business markets. Masergy’s winning Cloud f(n) Router showed judges that “execution strategies lead to superior customer experiences and greater adoption of cloud-based services,” said Russ Fordyce, Managing Director for the Business Intelligence Group. “Our goal is to help reduce complexity and enable customers to automate the provisioning of their IT infrastructure by the fastest and easiest means possible,” said Tim Naramore, CTO, Masergy. “Enterprises can bring branch offices and remote locations online in a matter of hours rather than the weeks it can take to ship hardware to remote sites. We are honored to receive a 2015 Stratus Award and proud that our managed service offerings stand out from among other solutions.” The 2015 Stratus Award accompanies the TMC 2015 INTERNET TELEPHONY TMC Labs Innovation Award, and marks the second award the Cloud f(n) Router has received since its June 30, 2015 introduction.
