New Partnership Helps Wireless Providers Deploy Branded Calling ID

Associated Carrier Group (ACG), TIP Solutions, and TransNexus today announced their partnership to simplify and speed the deployment of branded calling services by wireless providers.

Branded Calling ID (BCID) is an innovative new ecosystem launched by CTIA — The Wireless Association that restores trust in the public telephone network. BCID is an open ecosystem that leverages existing STIR/SHAKEN infrastructure to display an organization’s calling name, logo, and call reason on the handset of the called party.

The BCID ecosystem enables wireless and wireline service providers to earn new revenue from originating and terminating branded calls.

“Branded calling is the biggest new revenue opportunity for wireless service providers since roaming,” stated Russ Lipinski, President of ACG. “Enabling our members to earn new revenues from branded calling is an important priority for ACG. We have the expertise to help our members with BCID deployments from IMS integration to handset configuration.”
