Nuvias and Huddly Sign Pan-EMEA Distribution Agreement for Ground-breaking Video Conferencing Camera

20 Apr, 2018

Huddly GO offers the first intelligent and feature-rich USB camera, revolutionising the way video is done in the workplace and at home.

London: 16/4/18 – Nuvias, the fast-growing value-added distributor, has signed a pan-EMEA distributor agreement with innovative Scandinavian start-up Huddly for its ground-breaking intelligent collaboration camera. The ultra-compact and stylish Huddly GO offers advanced features such as an ultra-wide 150-degree lens, lossless digital Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) up to 4x, and 16 MP video – all at a fraction of the cost of existing high-end PTZ video conferencing cameras. Designed and engineered specifically for unified communications (UC), team collaboration and new pervasive video applications, Huddly GO is fully-compatible with leading cloud-based UC platforms already in the Nuvias Unified Communications Practice portfolio, including Lifesize, BlueJeans and BroadSoft, as well as Microsoft Skype for Business and more. This new pocket-sized, USB-powered camera, with dynamic light optimisation and visual noise filtering, delivers high-quality images whatever the location and conditions. And, with an ultra-wide field of vision, Huddly GO captures everyone in the room, even in the tightest spaces, making it ideal for ‘huddle rooms’, mid-size conference rooms and large open environments. With the Huddly App users also get regular software upgrades to improve image quality and performance, while the Huddly Vision API makes it possible to develop advanced intelligent features using the camera’s multiple video streams. “Today’s video conferencing cameras are either cheap-and-cheerful or very high quality with a high price tag – but Huddly has spent a long time engineering the first intelligent collaboration camera with advanced features such as pan, tilt and zoom –  but at an affordable price point,” said Steve Harris, EVP at Nuvias UC. “With more and more organisations recognising the benefits of unified communications – beyond just time savings and cutting travel costs – the high-quality video delivered by Huddly improves the user experience and productivity of collaborative virtual meetings. Once our partners have experienced the Huddly GO first hand, and seen how simple it is to integrate with their existing UC video platform, we believe this can be a true UC breakthrough.” “Fraser Park, Vice President Sales and Strategy at Huddly, said: “We are delighted to be working with Nuvias UC as a key distribution partner for EMEA. Their history of building high-quality UC experiences for the marketplace, along with their investment in a focused UC team, was a huge draw for Huddly. Nuvias already has a strong cloud UC portfolio and holds a unique position to service the BroadSoft customer base in the region. This presents an exciting opportunity for us to build meaningful meeting room experiences for this and all of their UC platforms. Huddly is building a portfolio of intelligent collaboration cameras. Aligning this portfolio with the existing offerings from Nuvias UC will provide customers in the region with new, simple to use and affordable collaboration bundles and experiences.” For a demo of Huddly GO, visit   https://www.huddly.com/blog/the-era-of-the-webcam-is-over.-meet-the-collaboration-camera About Huddly Huddly is a vision technology company that combines Scandinavian-designed hardware, software and AI to create innovative products for everyone who uses video to collaborate.
