UK Regulator, Ofcom, announces scam call and text enforcement

UK telephone and text companies must use phone numbers efficiently and effectively, to help tackle scam, according to Ofcom, the UK Regulator.

They have published guidance on how providers should do this.

This enforcement programme will make sure that providers are following their rules and support best practice in relation to the use of phone numbers.
